Six paid people and three hundred and twelve volunteers. Most of the staff started on the volunteer roster, and most of the board has stood behind the produce table at least once.

Ran the pantry as a volunteer for six years before anyone offered to pay her. Handles the parts nobody else wants to.

Built the heat fund after a winter of driving oil cans in her own trunk. Writes the field notes.

Retired lobsterman. Knows every road on the peninsula in the dark, which matters in February.
